Do you ever have some crazy or ingenious ideas that sound great in your head ? sometimes they should really only stay there. However, some great ideas sound ridiculous in the beginning but they could actually prove to be useful with time.

We can see people never stop invent stuff, from the funny redneck invention to the life hack product that eventual sell in the local store. Here’s some crazy inventions that we find on the internet, so are they crazy or ingenious?

What a  perfectly natural occurrence at Maldives Beach.  A taiwanese photographer, William Ho, has captured these  glistening dots of light on a beach in the Maldives. These amazing dots are caused by microscopic organisms called bioluminescent phytoplankton, or Lingulodinium polyedrum.

These plankton are part of a red tide, which is when the population of phytoplankton like these explodes in a certain location, coloring the water a dull orange-red.
At night, these organisms react to changes in water tension and to acidity by giving off light, so every wave break and paddle causes them to give off light.

You won’t believe that there were so many dream-like places exist right on our planet, and we never even knew about it. Here are dream-like Places that look like paintings and scenes from science fiction movies.

Sentinels of the Arctic, Finland

3419
They are actually giant trees covered in snow and ice. This strange sight occurs in winter, when temperatures range from -40 to -15 degrees centigrad.

Salar De Uyuni, Bolivia

1457
The world’s largest salt flat becomes the world’s largest mirror during rainy season. The Salar was born when several prehistoric lakes joined into one.

Tianzi Mountains, China

These tall and thin mountains are so alien that they were used in the movie “Avatar.” Formed underwater 380 million years ago, reached over 4,000 feet above sea level. The flow destroyed surrounding sandstone, leaving only resilient stone pillars.

Skaftafell Ice Cave, Iceland

1947 (1)
These ices are temporary structures that form at the edge of glaciers when flowing water melts a hole into glaciers. The ice has very few air bubbles and absorbs all light except for blue, giving the ice its blue color.

Antelope Canyon, Arizona, United States

2171
1204
This canyon was formed by millions of years of flowing water that carved out a deep, yet narrow crevice. Since significantly less light makes it down to the deeper depths, the walls often appear to be different colors.

Turquoise Ice, Lake Baikal, Russia

867
The oldest freshwater lake in the world. In the winter, the lake freezes, but the water is so clear that you can see 130 feet below the ice. Frost and sun cause cracks in the ice crust in March, which results in the turquoise ice shards we see at the surface.

Glowworm Caves, Waitomo, New Zealand

2242
This grotto and radiate a luminescent light are actually thousands of tiny glowworms hang to the ceiling, creating a scene straight out of a movie.

Pamukkale Hot Springs, Turkey

2824
Pamukkale
It look like these terraces are made of ice and snow.  The ground is just coated in white limestone.

Caño Cristales River, Colombia

Caño Cristales - Los Ochos
3124
Perhaps this is the most beautiful river in the world. This flowing river appears in yellow, green, blue, black and red as you travel along it due to its extensive habitat of fauna and flora, Some of the rocks here are around 1.2 billion years old.

Mount Roraima, South America

3912
407
This tabletop mountain, one of the oldest mountains on Earth,  formed two billion years ago when the land was lifted high above the ground by tectonic activity. The sides of the mountain are sheer vertical cliffs, with several waterfalls, one of the waterfall has been claims to be the world longest waterfall,  making it almost impossible to climb.

Aogashima, Japan (Volcano within a volcano ?)

4115
Aogashima located 200 miles off the coast of Tokyo. It is a  is a volcanic island, there’s a smaller volcano within the volcano island.

Underwater River, Cenote Angelita, Mexico

4412
4611
It is actually another flowing body of water. The river is full of hydrogen sulfate, which is much heavier than normal salt water. When it sinks to the bottom, it forms a flow of its own.

Hidden Beach, Mexico

1750
This awesome hidden beach was created by a military explosion test in early 1900s. The surrounding islands were deemed a nature park, you have to swimming through a fifty foot tunnel in order to get there.

An interesting thread has been discussed at Ask Reddit regarding the secrets of the airline industry that the passengers . Here are some of the best revelations they found:
1. Pilots Are Sleeping Most Of The Time
1299
50% of pilots sleep while flying and 30% of the time they wake up to find their partner asleep.

2. The Truth Behind The Oxygen Masks

1298
In case the oxygen masks drop down, you only have about 15 minutes of oxygen from the point of pulling them down. However, that is more than enough time for the pilot to take us to a lower altitude where you can breathe normally. At altitude, you have roughly 15-20 seconds before you pass out. Put yours on first, then do your kids. Passing out for a few seconds won’t harm the kids.

3. Why The Lights On The Airplane Dim When Landing?

2204
A plane will dim the interior lights when landing, in case you need to evacuate upon landing at night…

4. Regarding Food on The Plane

5103
Pilots are served different meals and cannot share, this is done in case of food poisoning. Stealing food, even if they are going to throw it out can get you fired instantly.

5. What Flight Attendants Really Do After Telling The Plane To Turn Off Their Electronics?

792
An anonymous flight attendant says after she tells everyone to turn off all electronics, she goes to the back and pulls out her phone and starts texting.

6.  The Power of a Pilot

dv2073133
That if a passenger is causing a scene in the jetway, a pilot can refuse to let them on and take off without them. The captain has almost limitless authority when the doors are closed. He is allowed to arrest people, write fines and even take the will of a dying passenger.

7. How A Pilot Approaches Landing

1084
“Landings are nothing more than controlled crashes.” Pilot friend quote. When you experience a hard landing in bad weather,  it is intentional. If the runway is covered in water the airplane has to touch down hard in order to puncture the water layer and prevent aqua planing.

8. The truth behind Turning Off Your Electronics.

ht_jet_blue_phones_wy_131101_16x9_992 (1)
Having to turn off electronics on a plane is totally useless. Mobile electronic devices won’t really bring an airplane down but they can be really annoying to pilots. Just imagine sitting in the deck and hearing the interference of a hundreds of cellphones picking up a signal.

9. The Drinking Water Used For Coffee And Tea Is Disgustingly Dirty

1767
The holding water tanks, that used for making coffee, tea in these sometimes 60 year old planes are never cleaned. They have accumulated so much greenish grime on the walls that in some places it can be inches thick. This one is very known by all airline employees.

10. Planes Without Engines Can Still Flide For A Really Long Time

1574
If both engines fail, a plane can glide 6 nautical miles for every 5000 feet. So at 35,000 feet, a plane can glide about 42 miles without power.
